Iggy Niesen      niesen_99@yahoo.com

Coach Iggy is currently Vice-President of the Frank Niesen Co.  After graduating from Roger Bacon in 1989, Coach Iggy started coaching youth basketball . Using his experience as a high school athlete, he began to prepare junior high players for high school. Coach Iggy quickly got involved in AAU basketball. He was the first Cincinnati Royals AAU head coach and won our first two Ohio AAU Championships. Since becoming involved with the Royals, he has helped guide many talented players into some of the area's finest. Including 14 players who went on to be 1st team GCL, 5 GCL Players of the Year ,13 players who went on to win a High School State Championship, over 20 college players and several who played professionally .Through the years Coach Iggy has maintained the same philosophy. Every player is important, but none more important than the Team, while understanding that a Team does not exist until every member of the Team realizes how his actions affect the Team. With this attitude both the player and the Team can excel. We look forward to more of the same this year from Coach Iggy.
