


Welcome to Southwestern Ohio Basketball
We have been running the top youth basketball leagues, tourneys and clinics in the entire Midwest for almost 30 years. We also offer ball handling and fundamentals clinics, summer camps and AAU programs. In the 2024-2025 season, over 2600 teams from the entire Tri-state participated in our basketball leagues and tourneys and over 30,000 compete in our sponsored events.
We strive to offer top-rated, cost competitive programs to help your child succeed and strengthen their love for the sport.

SPRING LEAGUE - Southwestern Ohio Basketball is happy to announce that registration for our Spring League is Open! The league will consist of a 10 game schedule to be held March 22nd through June 4th. We will also hold a postseason tournament the week of June 5th through June 7th. Games will be held on Wednesday and Thursdays from 5:30 - 9:30 PM, and on Sundays from 1:00 - 9:00. Games will be held primarily at Courts 4 Sports, Friars and SOAS Sports Complexes. The cost for the league is $275 + $50 deposit. The deadline to register is March 15th. For more info on our Spring League, please Click Here.

SPRING TOURNAMENTS - We have 17 total tournaments taking place from now through June in Cincinnati, Ohio and Bridgeport, WV. For more info on these tournaments, please view our tournament page by Clicking Here.​​

SPRING KINGS PROGRAM - Cincy Kings and Southwestern Ohio Basketball will be offering our summer program for players who are looking to improve their game in a structured environment that offers the best way to be a better player for next season. The program includes 10 - 12 practices, 10 games season and a one-and-out tournament. The practices will start around the third week of March, and the season will begin the last week of March. SPRING DRILLS N SKILLS - This spring, the Cincinnati Royals, Southwestern Ohio Basketball and AirKev will be offering our Drills & Skills program for players who are looking to improve the fundamentals of their game. This program has had over 5,400 participants in the last ten years. It is an eight week program of intense ball handling, skill development and drills. Sessions take place on Monday's beginning March 16th at Queen City Racquet Club (11275 Chester Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246). SUMMER LEAGUE - Southwestern Ohio Basketball is happy to announce that registration for our Summer League is Open! The league will consist of a 10 game schedule to be held June 1st through July 31st. We will also hold a postseason tournament from July 31st through August 2nd. Games will be held on Wednesday and Thursdays from 5:30 - 9:30 PM, and on Sundays from 1:00 - 9:00. Games will be held primarily at Courts 4 Sports, Sports of All Sorts, and one other Sports Complex. The cost for the league is $275 + $50 deposit. The deadline to register is May 25th. ​Southwestern Ohio Basketball (SWOB) Press Release:
After 16 and a half years of operating out of the Landmark Church facility, Southwestern Ohio Basketball (SWOB) announces it will be transitioning out of the building at the end of July 2025. Despite this change, SWOB remains fully committed to continuing its legacy as the Midwest’s longest-running youth basketball event operator.
Founded in 1995 by Tom Sunderman and Mike Buckle, SWOB began with a single gym in Northside and has developed into a cornerstone of youth sports in the Midwest, offering high-quality, affordable basketball leagues, tournaments, and training for thousands of young athletes. SWOB is proud to be the region’s longest-running youth basketball event operator.
SWOB has hosted over 15,000 teams in their leagues, 28,000 teams in their tournaments, and 14,000 youth in camps and clinics over the past three decades.
What’s Next for SWOB?
SWOB will continue to operate its full slate of programs, including:
