


Welcome to Southwestern Ohio Basketball
We have been running the top youth basketball leagues, tourneys and clinics in the entire Midwest for almost 30 years. We also offer ball handling and fundamentals clinics, summer camps and AAU programs. In the 2023-2024 season, over 2600 teams from the entire Tri-state participated in our basketball leagues and tourneys and over 30,000 compete in our sponsored events.

1995 30 YEARS PROVIDING YOUTH BASKETBALL 2025
BADIN RAM CLASSIC - We wanted to invite your team to play in our Badin Ram Classic taking place over the next two weekends (Dec. 13-14, 20-21). All games will be played at Badin HS (3 courts) with pool play this Saturday and Sunday (can use next Saturday also) and bracket play the following Saturday and Sunday. It is a 3-game guarantee for $125 (which includes the ref fees). We are taking teams through Wednesday at 11:00am and will put the schedule out Wednesday afternoon.

WINTER EVENTS:​​​​

WINTER LEAGUE - Southwestern Ohio Basketball has been providing the tri-state area both competitive and recreational youth basketball leagues for 29 years, longer than any other organization within 500 miles. This year will be our 30th winter league we have put on. We expect to have teams from throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Ky area. We will offer 10-game leagues for both boys and girls grades 2 - 12, offering various levels of play. These leagues will take place on the weekends from December 5th - February 15th (Off December 22nd - January 2nd). We will also have a post-season tournament from February 20th - March 4th. Teams are allowed to play games at their own home gyms or at one of our neutral sites.

​Southwestern Ohio Basketball (SWOB) Press Release:
After 16 and a half years of operating out of the Landmark Church facility, Southwestern Ohio Basketball (SWOB) announces it will be transitioning out of the building at the end of July 2025. Despite this change, SWOB remains fully committed to continuing its legacy as the Midwest’s longest-running youth basketball event operator.
Founded in 1995 by Tom Sunderman and Mike Buckle, SWOB began with a single gym in Northside and has developed into a cornerstone of youth sports in the Midwest, offering high-quality, affordable basketball leagues, tournaments, and training for thousands of young athletes. SWOB is proud to be the region’s longest-running youth basketball event operator.
SWOB has hosted over 15,000 teams in their leagues, 28,000 teams in their tournaments, and 14,000 youth in camps and clinics over the past three decades.
What’s Next for SWOB?
SWOB will continue to operate its full slate of programs, including:
